Another item to add to the Christmas list - funny how I'm thinking about Christmas and it's only July first! Well I like the idea of this book, Edible Estates, and think it'd be a rather interesting read...anyone else read it yet?

Best Trifle?

This past weekend while out with friends for dinner, I spotted trifle on the dessert menu and have to give it a whirl! The hubby has probably one of the best recipes and I always have to give everyone else's version a test run! His has sprinkles while the one I had over the weekend, included liquor and almonds and I have to say I'm still partial to his! Although we are planning on trying Gordan Ramsay's Sherry Trifle from his "Great British Pub Food" this summer - so I'll have to keep you updated!
